It is interesting note just how many of my transgender books are set in the past!
The Alchemy series (although a distorted past) and Avenging Annie were all set in past times. Even Elizabeth Grey was in the 1980’s!
And yet, my Female Domination stories are rarely set in the past! The only exception that I can think of is Maid to Serve!
Thought about this as I am writing a transgender novel at the moment and, as you have probably guessed, it is set in the past, the 1950’s to be precise.
The silly thing is that have yet to write a novel set in the historical era I studied!
Have no conclusions but just wonder why!
